flip kits

I have heard of people actually having the axle saddle that comes with the flip kits colapse or the welds break. I like the weld on spring perch idea better. Then you can get the pinion angle where ya need it and weld it on place.

Exactly
I'm using the Calvert bottom plates and getting the pinion angle right with the weld-on perches. I'm just getting all my ducks in a row for this little project. The front will be a 3" spindle and some trimmed V6 coils to get the ride height right.

and u did say you could re-use the stock u-bolts ??? im probably goin to cut the front springs 1/2 a coil or so, i already have spindle up front.
also., the perches from summit are 10 each, the ones from jegs are 13 for the pair...... it says sold in pairs.... so i think, correct me if im wrong
