Default Flexable tranny lines

has any one switched to flexable tranny lines. I am not having very good luck with the hard lines staying in the tranny and they touch the header which i know isn't helping keep it cool.

Use #6 braided line, buy a tube nut and ferrule. You will have to double flare the line again after you put the tube and nut on. That is how I did my flex lines, I have busted the trans hose in the past, plus it dosen't like heat. On my SS I didn't have room to reflare the line so I bought a 20" piece of steel line, cut it in half put the tube nut and ferrule on then used a compression fitting to put it back together underneath where you can't see it. Looks pretty cool through the grille. BTW Areoquip makes these fittings I'm talking about. 3/8=#6 which is the size of the trans lines on our trucks. Sorry I don't have a pic right now. Later
