EXACTLY!! :jest: :jest:
Except I had no sign to tell me not to!!
I just did it out of stupidity and ignorance.
It really was fun :jest: :jest:

Its funny you posted this, my buddies and I talk about all the people we have to train and work with in the machining industry, which incidentally is filled with big red buttons that are not supposed to be pressed. They always ask..."what will happen if I press this?"...The shit is halarious and I just did it myself!! :bang: :jest:

Anything to worry about when removing the air bag....like it deploying in my face and breaking my nose?! :jest:

y'know...the "cheap" fix is to cut the power to the airbag light :D

no, your air bags will not deploy when the lil light is on. disconnecting the battery is so that when you install the new clock spring, the module under the seat will reset when your done. i think you have the clip in air bag. if so, press the air bag in and from the back side take a small flat head screw driver and release the clip on each side. make sure the wheels are strait. remove the big ass nut. take a marker and mark the shaft splines. you can use a wheel puller are do like i do and just pull the fucker off. there are three torq. screws that hold the blinker switch on"take those out, but you don't have to remove it all the way". thats all i can rememmber from memory. oh and don't pull the keeper out of the clock spring untill it has been installed.

GOOD LUCK!

For some reason they usually shy away from safety stuff, there may even be some laws against re-selling Air-bag stuff used.
I'll call around.
