Exhaust help

Default Exhaust help

Im trying to get my stock y pipe off my 05 silverado but cant get it the flange that bolt to the catback past the crossmember for the trans.

What do i need to do??

You need to jack the front end of the truck up as high as possible and then the Y pipe has to come out in a specific manner. Pull it straight back, down, and towards the passenger front tire. Then once you clear the front end stuff, pull it to towards the driver's wheel. At least that's how I got mine out without dropping the crossmember. Took a while to figure it out.
