????emergency brake not working??????????

I replaced both of mine with factory parts and they did come with a new designed clip, but that does'nt help either. Also, it's not a rumor, the 05's have drum brakes.

maybe this clip failing is why i have heard so many people including myself that hear some kind of noise as they drive down the road. sounds like you are on the brakes but you arent and the truck doesnt seem to be slowed by the noise....hmmmm. could the clip fail and let the ebrake ride all the time?
