Default edelbrock ias shocks

I'm running DJM 2/4" drop kit with the 2" drop control arm. I want to run the edelbrock ias shocks but i don’t know if they will fit through the hole in the middle of the lower control arm? Are you guys running edelbrock stock height shock with the 2" drop control arm?

I don't think you run stock shocks...and many people are running doetschtech, bilstein, belltech street performance (me) and monroe reflex. I think any will do fine.

Man you don't make sense. I running street performers right now and I'm unhappy with them after 2yr.

I've only seen one other complaint (on this forum) about those shocks, every member at gmfs (most static dropped) like them.

Belltech Street Perf shocks are junk. Very cheaply made twin-tube shocks that don't last worth a ****. I will NEVER recommend them.

To the OP, the Edelbrock IAS shocks are good, solid, monotube design shocks. Unfortunately, I don't remember ever seeing any part numbers for lowered trucks. But since you're lowered with control arms, you might be okay. But I'm not really positive about that, seeing how the shock mounts upside-down compared to most brands. Maybe somebody has tried them and will chime in for you.

My ACTUAL personal preference is the KYB Monomax. A friend of mine has the IAS shocks on his truck, and I think they are okay, but he does have aftermarket front and rear sway bars as well(and Cal-Tracs). If people are happy with their Belltechs, that's cool. But there are much better shocks out there.
