Same principal i think... never seen one before tho.

But there are tons of guys on here running the Eaton LSD (not the crappy G80) and love it..
mine has never given me any trouble what so ever and its goin on 3 years now.

I love my eaton lsd too! It hasnt had an easy life since its been in my truck...

I have blown up the stock G80, replaced it with the Eaton LSD. Broke the spider gears in it, rebuilt it with Yukon replacement spider gears and haven't had a problem since. If I do happen to break them again, I will either try a TruTrac or upgrade the entire rearend.

My buddy has a Yukon in his Z71 and he has already broke it twice.. just a stock truck with a 100 shot..

TruTrac, ARP bearing cap studs, and TA Girdle here, a worthwhile upgrade.....

+1 for the G80 being a POS, here is my damaged unit, thank god I caught it in time before it scattered my rear end all over the road.....note the stripped teeth off the spider gear....
