Droping a 2004 Denali?
#1
What is the cheapest way to do a 2"-3" drop on a 2004 Yukon Denali? Also it does have the adjustable rear air shocks. Does anyone have any pictures of a Tahoe or Yukon with a 2-3 drop?

i looked around and it seems the denali is different than the tahoe. maybe cause its AWD. so the front is a torsion bar setup, meaning you could torque them down or purchase drop keys. as for the rear they have leafs springs. so you would have to get a shackle and drop leaf setup in the rear. i looked at ground force. as for the shocks. you might look into shock extensions.

The Yukon, Tahoe, Avys, everything built on that platform that is a 1500 uses coils in the rear. They don't have leafs. So what you will need to do it contact a suspension company about your vehicle and how or what they use to trick your air ride.

check out this link, its airbags for the rear coil setups on the suvs. its supposed to be a direct bolt on. all you would have to do is put a schrader setup on each bag or "T" them together.
i dont know why the groundforce website showed leafs on their drop kits.

Because I bet that is for the Denali trucks. If it is indeed the Yukon Denali it will have coils. Because my wife and I are deciding on how low we want to go with her Yukon XL non Denali.

I recall the Denali has air adjustable shocks. Isn't there a ride height control on the shocks, I believe you can raise or lower the ride height that way. When I load my enclosed trailer w/car, it raises my Escalade up almost 3 #.

Will the 2-3 drop keep the truck stance at a rack like the stock stance? I don't want the truck level, i want to keep a rake on it. I'm just looking to get rid of some wheel/well gap. Here's a picture of the truck now.
