I put a 2" lift and leveling kit in my '98 k1500 in order to fit my 33"s, but maxed out at 39" measures from ground to center of the wheel well lip, even after tightening the torsion bar key bolts. After some looking, there appears to be some sort of droop stop in the way of my upper control arm that's not letting it drop any further. Is it safe to cut it off any replace it with something much shorter? Any ideas or experiences?
