Default Driveshaft for my RCSB Z71

So my driveshaft departed my truck yesterday on the way to work. Along the way it took out the transfer case and the adapter to the transmission. I never could find the old driveshaft so I need to know what length to look for. Truck is stock with the NP246 transfer case and is stock height with no plans of lifting but theres a tiny chance it will get slightly lowered.

Can someone measure their stock RCSB 4wd driveshaft for me or point in the direction of a reasonable priced alternative? All the local yards want 250-350 for a used shaft with old u joints in them.

I just had mine shortened for the 4l80e swap, and they painted it otherwise I could get the part number off of it. That would be your best bet imo, just see if anyone has the part number for rcsb 4x4 driveshaft.

That's a good idea that I hadn't thought of.

Would a driveshaft from a standard Yukon be the same length or are they the same size as an extended cab truck?

I'm not sure on that one. Might be a different length than both.
