Default driveshaft confusion

Trying to get the last bit of part for my 80e swap and I'm confused about the driveshaft part. My truck is a 2006 crew cab single aluminum driveshaft. Can I just get the slip yoke from a similar year HD and there will be a conversion u joint? Trans is from an 01 HD. Also read about different types of tailshafts I may have. All eBay links that have been posted are expired.

does it require a conversion u-joint or is 3r what comes on the stock 60e shaft. did you have to trim that yoke down any?

I did the 2 piece ds swap at the same time and it has 3r joints so no conversion joint for me. I didn't trim the yoke down at all, It wouldn't hurt for me to get the shaft shortned maybe 1 1/2" but it's fine the way it is now. I will get it cut soon though
