Default Driveshaft change for crew cabs?

Does anyone know if all crew cabs came with one piece driveshafts or did some of the earlier years have 2 pieces?

I had a 2004 1500 CC, one of the first ones out on the market and it had the 1 piece alum driveshaft too.

Ok, just making sure. I know most EC trucks have a 2-piece driveshaft, so I was wondering if some had it and some didnt.

Ok, another question about them, did some years come with a smaller diameter steel shaft? Mine came with a very large diameter aluminum one....

you might want to ask also if it's a 2wd or 4wd, the distance that the transfer case takes up might make a difference
