Default Driveshaft Carrier/Support Bearing Styles

Looking to replace my center support bearing when I do the 80E swap. My stock one looks like this but there is another one that looks like this. Anyone know if the two are interchangeable? The latter seems to be far easier to find and is cheaper in most cases than the style that came on my truck.

So I guess I answered my own question. I have the belltech carrier bearing relocation kit which looks like it requires the style of bearing that I currently have.

So what is the other style bearing used for?

I think the other style bearing was pre-NBS.

The 1st one listed is the style that came in my 2000 NBS. That is the factory style unit.
