Drive shaft which is better 2 piece or 1 piece?

i wonder if anyone has ever made a 2 piece shaft for a reg cam??

Also it seems like the 3 u joints of the two piece shaft might spread the load out better rather then putting the same force on two u joints with a one piece shaft. Maybe that is why my little 1330's haven't exploded yet from my 80E beating the crap out of them. I was a little concerned about the carrier bearing on mine as well but its pushing 200k miles, the rubber is still good, a little weathered but good, the bearing is tight and spins freely, so maybe its stronger then I think it is.

Say not to one piece propeller shafts!



This one let go at about 102-103mph and now I have an ECSB two-piece in my truck.
