Default Drag Race Light-Weight Control Arms

Hey,
Looking for some light weight upper and lower control arms along with a spindle for the front of my truck. Truck is still a DD so I don't want to go down in the front more then I have to. I have a 4" drop in the rear with stock springs (for towing purposes) Caltracs, small tire, stock 10 bolt with moser axles. So I am looking at a 2" front drop at the most, I just can't seem to find a decent front suspension for a drag race application. I know this will help me get my 60' times down a little more considering the whole front end is stock other then a removed sway bar.

Not sure how that's possible, when I weighed them there was only a pound or two difference.

Well telling ya what mine weighed in at

Lowers saw the big difference

Not hard to believe a set of arms dropping 7lbs each side going from a cast setup vs tubular

My arms also dont have the sway bar mounts which is unneeded weight

I think TRZ has an option that uses a gen1 camaro spindle/brakes. its not a catalog item but it might be worth a phone call to them

Which lower arm works with a coil spring ? There are 2 lowers listed on ridetechs' site.

The ones that save the weight don't use the factory style coil spring.

Do they use a coil over ? Ride techs site has very limited info on them. One looks like an air bag would bolt to it (as it has a "base" with a mounting hole) and the other looks for a coil over.

Yes, it is for a coil over shock. Ridetech makes a shock that bolts in using the factory upper mount, but it is not a drag type set up. The valving on the shocks is for the street along with the super heavy spring rates.
