The rims will not change your alignment. The reason I think they are wanting more money do an alignment, it might require some expensive adapters to mount the sensors on the rims.

yeah i think that they are trying to rake you. take it in on the stock SH%T and do it that way. as long as you are all balanced on the rim you will be straight.

Seems weird they want more for 18's?? My girl has 18's on her truck and it was their standard $40 alignment.

I on the other hand have 22's on my truck. Will it make a difference on mine if i align it when i lower it with the stockies and put the 22's back on when i get home?

no it doesnt matter the size of the rim on the alignment! alignments have jack to do with the rims. that is what balancing is for. the alignment just corrects toe, chamber, and caster when you lower your vehicle. if they try charging you more than run it in on the stock. i'm being told that it is at the limitation of there equiptment. you'll be fine!!!

I work with the latest alignment racks. The set back to older racks are the size rim that alignment heads only adjust to 20" wheels.
The newer ones will adjust to 26" wheels.
We charge $109.99 for a wheel alignment. It includes a 1 year, unlimited mile warranty. You can have it checked or done whenever throughout that year.
We also do 3 yr & 5 yr warranty alignments as well. They are unlimited and transferable.
This is at NTB.

Sweet! What if i come in with my stockies on, get the alignment and the warranty and then come back within the next year and have it checked with the 22's on there? Would i save any money coming in with the stockies on for the initial alignment or is it the same price no matter what?

Same price no matter what. Just hard to beat an alignment that's able to be performed anytime you want throughout which ever yearly package you choose.
Even if you lowered it, replaced a worn part, raised it, it would still be covered
under that original alignment coverage.
Though if you come in with a truck that is raised quite a bit from the beginning ,you cannot purchase the 1, 3 or 5yr alignment packages. Just a 6 month/ 6,000mi warranty alignment package.
Thought this would sound good to some of you guys.
An alignment is also recommended to be check at least every 15,000mi. I'm sure everyone here is taking care of their pride and joy right ?
Did I also mention we do FREE alignment checks. We don't charge you anything if don't decide to do it either.
Hope this helps some of you out there.
