yeah that's right...
i want to run drums in the rear so i can run a 15" wheel with a lot of backspacing.
i'm just trying to get an idea on how straight forward this swap will be.
i'll be swapping from one truck to another and vice versa. (ecsb and rcsb)
thanks,
lance

stay with disk and just grind yor calipers..i ground mine over a year ago and had no problems...compared to disk brakes drums can be a pain in the *** to change the shoes..i went and looked at mine and you will need to take the whole back plate off as it looks like caliper bracket bolts to the backing plate..will also have to swap the emergency brakes too..cable lengths could be different..

like i said, the main reason i want to go with drums is so i can run a lot of backspacing (some wheres around 6.5" bs or more if i can)
with the disc brakes it will be hard to do b/c there's the bango bolt that comes into play. here's the stock 16x7 wheel that has a 5.2" bs and +31mm offset. between the wheel and bango bolt there is 1" of clearance.
