Default DD Needs new Tires What to Get?

I have an 04 extra cab 1500 and I need some new tires. I drive a ton of miles with it so I need something that will last a while. What is a good high mileage tire that will do well in all road conditions. Dosent have to be a performance tire just one that looks decent and will ware well. Any help will be appreciated.

I second the Michelin LTX. Had them on previous trucks and wear like iron...I wish they make them in 22's....

BFG Long Trail T/A's. They ride good, are quiet, and they handle good in all conditions.

Both of these tires are the same thing, so either way you go you're fine. The only thing the Michelins will have over the BFG Long Trails is a non-asymmetrical tread design making for a quieter ride and slightly longer tread life. BFGoodrich and Michelin share the same technology, manufacturers for tread compounds and warehouses. Really the only difference between how one tire is made vs the other is the Headquarters.

The old saying around my work is "you know a tire guy by the Michelin tires on his vehicle", because they are the absolute best you can buy. You definitely get your money's worth. Our Suburban has 97k miles on the ODO now, and has had only Michelin LTX M/S's on. The first set was a 265/70R16, the next set I replaced along with new rims, 265/70R17. Our Cavalier has Michelin Primacy's on in a 205/60R15, and our HHR has 235/45R17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's. If you can't tell already, we're a Michelin family.

I'm somewhat partial to Yokohama. I currently have a set of Geolander AT+II 265/75 R16 on my 4x4 and they perform flawlessly on-road and off-road. They seem to be phasing this tire out and replacing it with the Geolander A/T-S, they are getting really good reviews on the various tire sites. Good treadwear warranty, good prices, pretty quiet ride; current miles 35,000 and about 60% tread left.

Although I don't do to much of this:>

michelin xlt on my grandfather yukon xl with 50k miles and still have good tread! Great tires work well in wet conditions.

I did like my last set of Cooper Discoveries, lasted and had good traction off road(nothing like a mudder but I was very happy).

UHP suck for milage...
