Default CSR CF transmission shields

Doing some changing to my car and 'hope' to drop into the single digits next year and run some street car type events. These usually involve a drive of around 30 miles and three runs after that. Also, my car is driven ALOT and I am concerned with heat in both the race events and cruising around and/or road trips.

I do run a front mount transmission cooler but do not have clearance for a deep pan

As I understand the rules, per NHRA, I will need to equip my car with a flex-plate shield and transmission shield. A blanket can also be utilized but I have read a few issues with them reference fitment, getting hung up on linkages, and dealing with the straps. One less thing I would rather not deal with.

I did a little bit of research and have read where some have fit a CSR Carbon Fiber transmission shield over their 4l80 with good results.

I am curious if anyone on here has ran this shield and could share their opinions/results. Keep in mind that I will be running this transmission in a 2nd Gen Camaro so my clearance is somewhat limited compared to a full size truck.

Thanks.
