Default Cry with me

Well i go to pick my truck up from the shop today, really excited, got the clutch, eaton, and cutouts installed. Well i get there, my mechanic takes off in it, gone about 10 minutes, comes back, well i get in it and he tells me to nail it and see how it does. Now i know better than to do this one a new clutch and a used but fairly new locker but i do it anyhow. Well i get in the truck and realize it's really hard to pull out of gear, let off the clutch maybe an inch, it chokes down, gotta get used to this, well i crank back up and take off, nail it in first and it keeps traction (been about 3 months since i could do that) i grab 2nd and it spins maybe 15 or 20 feet, i'm loving it. Drive about a mile, turn right, get straight, nail it again in first go to grab 2nd, bounces off rev, pull back down into second and bounces off rev, clutch has no pressure on it............................F**()(&(*&*(&*&&(^$% *^%^CK...call up my mechanic, he comes down there, figures out slave cylinders gone all to hell. Called up dealership, $100 at cost and probably gonna get free installation, but it'll be tuesday before i get it back again. But, on a good note, i got the clutch, eaton, and cutouts installed (and i had another thread where i was wondering where it was leaking, turns out i shifted too hard into 2nd and broke the ear off the back left side of the shifter housing) and fixed the leaky tranny for $285.

Be nice to that clutch man. Break it in!! Too bad you cant use a ZO6 slave on that tranny.

yeah i knew better than to beat on it with it being so new, but u know how it is when ppl are watching you and you wanna show off and ****. Yeah i hated spending the money on this transmission b/c i'm going to be swapping in a t56/6.0 within a year. But yeah when they get it finished up, i'm gonna have him go and dog the **** out of it for about an hour so if it f's up again i wont' have to pay for anything
