Crunching sound

Default Crunching sound

only on cold mornings, after the truck has set for a few min, I hear a crunching sound under the truck. Only happens on cold mornings and after I drive for a few min it's gone. Cold is relative as well as it happens in the 40s and early 50s. Warmer than that it doesn't happen. Think that is condensation in the exhaust or worse?

anything. literally the more details you can give, the better.

What kind of crunching noise? Metal on metal? Metal on plastic? Plastic on plastic? Is it coming from the front or rear? Can you describe the sound? Does it happen first thing in the morning? ETC.

Sounds like an animal crunching food honestly. Only on colder that 50-55 really and only before being driving for 10 secs or so. Been told it's condensation in the exhaust so trying to verify

I imagine the water would be more of a crackle, like that off a pan. How does that much water get on the exhaust?

i was told it's condensation in the exhaust. This mormimg was high 40s and didn't do it. Weird!
