Default Converting 2/4 to 4/6 drop

Hey, I have a belltech 2/4 drop with 2" coils up front and hangers/shackles out back.

I was wondering if I got 2" spindles for the front (for a total of 4"), what would I need to drop the rear another 2" for a 6" drop.

Im assuming on the belltech 2/4 drop, the rear hanger drops 2" plus another 2" from the shackle? What If I got a hotchkis 4" drop leaf, with the belltech 2" hanger and used the stock shackles? Would this work, or be shitty?

Thanks

that would work in the rear, You will have to get a 4in drop leaf and than use the 2 in shackle

I dont have the stock hangers, but I have the stock shackles. What about the 4" leaf and 2" hangers.

Just wondering, its a lowering bug. 1st you want 2" shackles, then a 2/3 then a 3/4 then 4/6..

I know how you feel, I was the same way, I put in the 2in shackles, than I wanted to do a 2/4, than 3/5, now I am pretty sure that I am going with a 4/6, lol

or u can run your stock hangers and shackles and do a 6" flip kit in the rear and run your stock coils and do a 4" lca for the front. i'm at the same boat as you are. thats what i'm doing. if u go spindles for the front, it will be a good ride but your turning radius will be affected big time. its just what i learned from buddies from this forum. thanks Jason (j's01silverado) and Jeff (twankydeuce)!!!

For the front you could use 2" spindles or control arms. For the rear you will have to do a 4" leaf and either the hangers or shackles, or you can put the stock shackles and hangers back on and run a flip kit. If you use the leafs, don't forget to get a cnotch.
