Exclamation carrier cross pin stuck

so I've started my tru trac install and I didn't get very far, the cross pin looks like it's broke and has jammed itself in its bore.

I've hit it with a hammer and punch long enough.

time to get the torch, but how should I attack it???

I've had luck with an air hammer if the pin is still in one piece

Cutting torch is what I've had to use in the past. Just have an extinguisher nearby, that gear oil is going to flame up on you.
