Default Caltracs w/ 2/4drop

Hey will caltracs help my truck hook better with a 2/4 drop and c-notch frame! Im really just dont want no wheel hop and wondering if Caltracs will fix that problem. Truck is lowered with Shackles and Bel-Teck Leaf Springs w/Toxic Shocks in rear and coils in the front.

Where is the best place to purchase CalTracs to for my silverado?

I believe Caltracs will cure your prob. Get em straight from CalvertRacing.
They're the maker of em. I never see em on sale from anywhere. So plan on $339 IIRC + shpg.

FWIW, my wheel hop went away (or greatly dimished) when I went to my 2/4 drop. But if you're plannin that F/I 370 build, look towards your future goals & plans - all the power will be a waste if it's not being put down.

the drop springs up front is what's hurting you.
they are probably stiff like my hotchkis were and they do not transfer the weight to the rear. if you get caltracs, go with spindles up front and remove the overload spring.

I don't wanna give up my Hotchkis springs cause it handles so well.

It will get rid of the wheel hop no problem but if you have big power you may still have traction issues on the street

Ya traction will definitely still be an issue, if you have big power. The Truetrac I just got has really helped with that so I highly recommend getting one if your'e having traction issues.
