Default buying a convertor this week

i have an 04 4wd yukon. built motor, cam, procharger, longtubes etc. just had the 4l60 built but my convertor is shot. i believe its a restalled stock one but not sure of the stall speed. looking into a circle d or yank. really i dont want to get crazy and grenade my tranny real quick and would like it be streetable. opinions on brand and stall speed are appreciated.

truck went 12.98@ 102 on stock convertor with 14 degrees timing. never got a chance to run it with this restalled version. truck makes good power but would like to find a middle ground for streetability and reliability when it comes to tranny and convertor

I would contact Dave at Yank or Chris at Circle D, Let them spec you a converter. I went with Yank, got it installed today, man it is a helluva verter. It hits hard and shift extension is great.

called chris he recommended his 265mm pro convertor. 2500-2700 stall with the oversized single disc. seemed like the best compromise between street and track in my heavyass yukon. thanks alot cant wait to get it!

Appreciate the order. I think the 265mm will be a perfect fit for your setup.
