so i went to take my brother to gamestop this morning and when i got in my truck, the tranny was binding really bad and the truck would hardly move

i checked and the fluid was a little low, so i added some, but it still continued to bind. i put it in first and gave it some gas and it just stalled up and barely moved. i put it in reverse and when i gave it some gas, i heard a clunk. i turned the truck off immediately and rolled it backwards into the corner of the driveway.

the truck drove perfect sunday night with no shifting issues and i let my brother drive it today to take a friend home, and he claims it did it then.

when my tranny bit the dust....it did it in reverse and i herd a clunk...turns out it was the sunsell breaking into 3 pieces good luck

i called them at the tranny shop and they said bring it in, only problem is the truck is in dallas and i don't want to pay out the *** to tow it up here

 

Wow you blew a built trans with a cam'd 4.8, a verter.. Who built the trans??

Hard to say what it is, just need to get it out and take a look.
