Built 4l60e...or maybe not
I got all the parts i could from finish line trans for my tranny when i built it 12,000km ago. All the trans go goodies, everything that was available, plus a yank 2600 and it it all put together professionally. Well 2-3 is slipping at wot and same into overdrive at mid throttle!
I drive the truck only on ncie days and i drive the **** outta it...realized i shoulda jsut got a FLT build unit to begin with...but live and learn.
Anyways Im was looking into a t-56 swap a few months ago, and i guess its time to do it lol
I pulled this from the t-56 thread...these part numbers look good??

i know flt makes heavy duty T56s and also D@D motorsports but you should also look into a T56 outta a GTO cause i hear there better for our heavy trucks cause the gearing is lower then you would'nt have to run low gears in the rear end to even out the the higher gearing in one outta a camaro or a TA or even better find one outta a viper i know someone on hear put a trans outta a viper in there truck but they had to relocate the shifter

Due to repetitive questioning on the gears, it is the same final drive as a F-body with 26" tires and 4.10 gears since my 20"ers are 32" tall. I'm doing 1900 rpm @ 70 mph on the highway. My 1st gear is 2.66, and a 4L60e is 3.06)
here you dude this is from turbogibbs
