Default build or buy 4l60e

after much debate on the 6.0 swap or stick with 5.3, i decided to build a budget 5.3 till i can build a built 6.0. my qeustion is what do i need to do to build up my 4l60. i am planning intake, headers, y pipe, exhaust, cam, torque converter, and maybe a little shot of n2o. i figured i would definately get shift kit and servos but what else should i get for the tranny.

Check FLT's website (site sponsor).

Look for their Level 4 (at least). They list what goes in.

Not to be a dick, but you'd probably have another $3000 in your pocket if you would have listed EVERYTHING in y'all's tranny's. I just spent $600 in parts duplicating y'alls level 4 transmission, but y'all left out about $4-500 in parts that I also bought. I'm gonna have about $1100 into my transmission with just parts, but if you guys listed THE EXACT build list I might have bought one from you.

I'm sure you guys do this to prevent competitors from copying you, but for people like me who actually want to get the best bang for their buck, they'll be swayed away from your transmissions.

I'd compare it to buying a car. The salesman may tell you the 2008 camaro is fully loaded with every option, but what's under the hood is "top secret" in order to keep competitors from knowing what it has.

Just a thought for you guys at FLT. It's not a bash, just a tip from a consumer.

An 80e with a shift kit will hold anything you are going to throw at it with a 6L and a turbo, they are tough transmissions.
