I am daily driving the manual conversion project vehicle now. Even in DC traffic. I'd like to get the bracket installed in the next month and let you guys know how it works out. Will add it to my conversion thread.

Ok...I feel dumb because I have been lurking atomics products on a bunch of different forums. I am finally considering a manual swap on my 06 yukon and just learned about the bracket problems when of course....I find a thread where atomic has created a solution! Sorry that this will be my first post but I would like to claim dibs on a bracket soon!!!

Great news. Which tranny will you be using? I just got my atomic bracket and it looks pretty damn good. Its a real tank and i dont suspect having any problems with the clutch after the swap.

Check out my yukon swap thread and feel free to post up any conversion experiences or pictures after your swap!

Thanks for the link! I want the 4500. Not a fan of the 5600 and the other 6spd....well I want suspension lift and not body. I definitely am going to install the remote shifter kit from the youtube guy Ty Brink I think is his name?

EDIT: WOW.....your thread is exactly what I have been looking for! Awesome job!!

I have contacted a couple machine shops but no one seems interested in making them for me. That would also add considerable cost to the bracket without any real benefit so I am just going to keep making them how I have been with a pipe and the end piece welded on.

any chance you will make the threaded blocks for the firewall bolts? Might make for a more complete setup for all us auto converts??
