I wasn't expecting my axle to break, it broke where the C clip would hold it I believe. It took like 5 - 10 min to find my wheel.

I'm trying to find an after market axle like moser, but I can't seem to find any?? And will C clip eliminator work on my truck? I really don't want to have this happen again! I got lucky that I was not on the freeway, like I was 5 min before it flew off.

A 14 bolt from a junk yard is your answer. Everybody I called said theirs would help much over stock. Or 4wd/awd will fix it. It's not often 4wd guys break them with stock hieght Tires.

So once I figure out the specs on a stock axle I'll call Moser again and they will make me a set. 250 for a set and then I should be good! I would like a 12 bolt but i just had my 4.10's and tru trac put in less then a year ago. Any have specs on axles?

so i found that its a 30 spline, and it should be 33.6" long, 6X5.5 bolt pattern.
moser axles will be ordered monday, they said 2 days to build them, 4 days to ship. $250 for the set, $30 for the bearings, and $38 for shipping. ill still need a brake assembly, i would like to switch to rotors, but limited by my funds. so hopefully in 2 weeks everything will be back to normal and my rear end should be pretty stout.
