Default Braking and downshifting to first....

Ok the truck has been doing this for quite sometime, even before the tune. (prolly about 20,000+ miles) Whenever i stop from a moderately high speed (example 55mph) and come to a complete stop it will downshift from whatever gear its in and throws it into first right as im about to stop causing a good headjerk and a lunge foreward. Whenever i gradually stop it doesnt happen. Not really worried about it but hell, i would like to know what the deal is. Anybody know? I could really care less about this tranny. I know nothing about transmissions so could it be some sort of solinoid out of kilter or something?

Edit- Mispelled the damn title....

OOOO! I hope its the tranny! But like i said its been going strong for over 20,000 miles and i chirped second today so it seems like its still real strong. (without a shift kit, without a servo with 100% tm intact) I need to get a FLT tranny so i can quit worrying about it.

I have tuned (by Runnin with the Devil) 05 Silverado and don't have that problem. I would think it is something in the tune causing that.

Would this person have a really slow RCSB Z-71 and enjoys molesting baby gators?
