It's possible you spun the tires a little bit but the clutch started slipping/burning.
My moms Toyota feared me when i was 15 haha....
First time it ever burnt the clutch not the tires like you stated the smeel lasted a good while it drove funny.
Finally it was ok again......except i had taken alot of life out of the clutch and about 5k miles later it had to be replaced.
If you try to do a brake stand again and the clutch slips again you need a new one for sure.

let the clutch out fast . . . as if you're power shifting from 1 to 2 and you're trying to get a 2nd gear scratch. If you're trying to power break, you don't want to slip the clutch at all.
