Brakes for NBS
#1
Been looking for a pad/rotor combo for front and back for my 02. And have been thinking about the PowerStop 1-click cross drilled setup. Just curious if anyone has experience with these?

I had some drilled and slotted rotors. They looked good but I don't think they did anything for my braking. I also swapped to the '05 front brake setup and Tahoe dual piston rear. The hydroboost setup will be the best bang for buck imo.

I think i had that kit on my 05 when i bought it. It was ok and i didnt see much fade in braking due to heat. I do know that after a while the holes and slots clog up so make sure to check/clean after every tire rotation.
Now im on power slot rotors and hawk lts pads and they seem great. I'd say they have simular braking power. Now with yours being an 02 if you have 17" wheels or larger look into the 05 brake upgrade.

What I did to finally get a pedal feel that I liked was in this order:
Raybestos slotted rotors all around
Raybestos Element 3 brake pads all around
flush with new fluid
convert front brakes to the bigger 07 Tahoe brakes (pads, rotors, calipers)
hydroboost
Easily the hydroboost was the biggest improvement in pedal feel.
