brake pads!

Default brake pads!

i got my truck frommy dad at 185k, he bought it new, get this, it still has the original brake pads, but they are going to be changed, i want to get these same ones, anyone k now anything about this phenomenon?

He thinks brakes are for ******!!!. J/K, he probley just drives easy and don't tow much if any.

if the truck is a 99-02 the original pads from the factory are semi-metalic and you can get them at the dealer. ceramics are quieter but have deminished stopping power IMO compared to the semi-metalics. oriellys no longer carries semi-metalic for our trucks but i think napa might still have a set available if you want to go aftermarket.....

I bought my pads and the drilled and slotted rotors from R1Concepts and I love them, have lasted a long time so far and no noise.
