Default brake pads

ok i change my rotors and pads to ssbc ones, and the pads say low dust, but after a few days of driving they seem to make more than the stock ones, and don't seem to brake as well, so my question is, if i change to new stock ones soon, what would i have to do, i.e. have them turned to just go over them with sandpaper to ruff them up?

New pads on 'used' discs are OK, nothing special needed to be done. Old pads on new discs = BAD

Also i know what you mean about the SSBC pads, i think i had them on a week before i swapped em for EBC Greenstuff Organic Pads, less dust (no such thing as dustless) and boy do those pads bite hard!

85$ per axle i believe. More expensive than most, probably. But i will never go cheap when it comes to tires/brakes.

Going fast is fun, being able to stop is better

Ok im taking a guess on what exactly your vehicle is.

Based on the guess off 2002 and up Silverado 4wd.

Front:
FMSI#: D785
EBC P/N: DP61304 (6000 Series, Greenstuff)

Rear:
FMSI#: D792
EBC P/N: DP61630 (6000 Series, Greenstuff)

NOW... if yours is a 2001. The fronts are the same but the rears change

2001 Rear,
FMSI#: D834
EBC P/N: DP61635 (6000 Series, Greenstuff)

PS, when searching on summit, just add a EBC- infront of the part number to make it easier.
