Default Blown Tranny Need an 80E

Buddy of mine blew his tranny last night in his 96 3/4 ton truck. He's lookin for a used 4L80E. Anyone have one? shoot me a price if so.

If you're helping in find one, make sure you get the right year. Pre-'97 4L80-E's have different cooler fittings and linkage than later models. Avoid the very early 80-E's because they have different wiring harnesses and connectors and can have different pulse-width modulators for line pressure. I think you're going to want to stick to '95 or '96 for full compatibility.
