hey guys found a 98 4x4 blazer with a bad trans. i can buy it cheap. wondering if the blazer t-case would bolt up to my stock 4l60e outa my fullsize. It should shouldnt it? If so, im gunna buy it, throw a takeout 5.3 in it and use my trans i got sittin in my shop(still good, did a 80e swap) and prolly throw in a tb stall. thanks guys.

 

As far as I know it should bolt right up as long as your fullsize was a 4x4 also. If the truck is 2wd, no go, the output shaft is different.

 

yeah its a 4x4 trans. i think it should work cause they put 60e's behind the 4.3's they just had fewer clutch packs is what i was told. externally they are identical.

 

the t case's are different between the two trucks.you need to make sure the output shaft is the same size,i kinda think there gonna be different.plus you gotta make sure the yoke's are the same so you can bolt up your DS.its out of an s10 blazer rite?

 

call one of the tranny sponsers and see if it'll work
