I thinks that the point of the extenders

 

I had Bilstein...had them on my Saturn back in the day, my 95 Monte Carlo, and my Burban...until i switched these to Beltech...that was a mistake. I will be going back to Bilstein as soon as possible.

 

Just ordered up a set of HD's for my 06, didn't realize they were in Florida so the sales tax cancelled out my discount

 

Look on the bright side...you're still under what you would've paid w/o the discount.

 

looks like i will be getting the Bilstein HD's, will let everyone know how they feel once i get the on.

 

If you ordered from shockwarehouse.com, I hope you get them in a timely manner. I ordered mine on 4/21/11 and did not receive mine until 5/11/11. They charged my card the day I ordered, then the charge was removed. I sent an email to customer service via the link on their website and left them a voicemail. They did not respond to either. I ordered the same shocks from summit racing and had them on my doorstep in 3 days. Then i get an email from shockwarehouse saying my order shipped.
I don't mind waiting on something I order if it is shipped within a reasonable amount of time, but I was pissed that their customer service was unresponsive. I ended up selling the extra set of shocks to a member here, so no worries there. I'll not order from shockwarehouse.com again though.

 

I actually called the asked if they were in stock and the salesman said they were at the home warehouse in Ft Lauderdale.

Mine rode great before my shackle install with bilstein hd's. They still do well now on bigger bumps, but transmit every little bump and imperfection from the rear axle to the cab. I have no suspension binding. They are better than stock z85 shocks for sure, but I was hoping for less front end floatiness. Maybe lowering the front will get them into a stiffer part of the stroke

 

Installed the shocks today

the rear suspension is noticeably tighter now, The front seems softer as previously stated. Given the shorter sidewall on my 20's I think these shocks are a bit rough for my regular cab.

I will give them a week and report back after they have had some time to settle in

2006 RCSB V6, stock suspension and 2" belltech shackle, 275/45/20 tire
