Default The best shocks for handling

I am looking for a nice stiff shock for the best handling. I have a 2000 regular cab short bed 2WD. Does anyone have any ideas?

Summit Sport Truck shocks...they're reboxed Doestech shocks.

I love mine, It takes some muscle to make them compress when ever you install them.

Thanks. Are they stiff as hell? I dont care about how the ride feels. I just want a stiff shock to help improve handling.

Well I've never had experience with any other aftermarket shock but I can tell you these are definitely stiff. I can't tell you how much stiffer they made the ride though since I did them at the same time I installed stiffer springs all around.
