i did a search, and saw that others were clamping all three together. thats how i plan on doing it since my overload is already touching the other 2 springs.

This is correct for a truck with the overload spring still on.

It looks like your clamps are on the back of the leafs.

I thought conventional use of these put them at the front of the leafs, not the back, creating a ladder bar effect.

Yeah i installed them a few weeks ago and wowo did it make a difference. I still have actory leaf springs with 3 leafs in it. And I went to the race track this friday and did not ahve any problems with wheel hop. I did get decent launches and didnt have any traction issue this week at the track. I did notice that in street use the ride in a bit more stiffer, but not a major problem. I would definately say well worth 20 minutes of install time and 1o bucks at autozone.

dropped it a 1/2" TX? Damn, looks like I'm heading to autozone. lol. I could use a little more drop in the rear. But I do think that I am going to try this one, and for 10 bucks, why not. lol.

TSilvy, got any pics? How far back did you put them?

my digi camera is in my gf's car... i clamped all three springs together. it might drop your truck even more since i already have 2" hangers and 3" shackles. my overloads didnt have far to go until bottomed out. i took out the little pad at the front of the overload spring and put the clamp right there. keep a rubber mallot handy cuz thats what it takes to get those u bolts over the overload spring. 30 minute 10$ mod.
