Default best lowered/performance suspension

Hey guys, I am trying to figure out what to do with my suspension. I have a 99 rcsb, thinking a 4/6 drop with 20 or 22's. I am wanting my truck to handle on rails and cant find anything on handling aspects of the lowering kits available. I get lower is better, i have lowered a few in the past, but i want more handling than just looks. The calmax kits with sway bars look good. Also thinking of putting in a 4 link and getting some rear coilovers. Any ideas??? Thanks guys!

The hard parts will be the same really, from spindles to shackles or flip kits. Picking the right shock combo and spring combo will determine how it handles. Aswell as the sway bars.

Also, those big wheels will ruin everything just sayin. You are talking like 90-110lbs per corner with tires, and thats not going to be good for ride quality and "performance" feel.

Coilovers for sure. If you are 2wd, you can get some really nice upper and lower controls arms and coilovers from ridetech. If you want to run that size of wheel, you'll want forged. My intros are 22x9 on 285-35-22 and weigh about 76 lbs per corner, but big chrome discount tire 22s are gonna be a lot more unsprung weight like FFDP mentioned. A rear 4 link would be nice, I am not sure who makes a good bolt in one. Custom built would be beat obviously.

Thanks for the advice! I really liked project novakane that Truckin Magazine did a few years back, and sort of want the same idea of a truck. I will check out the ridetech stuff.
