Default Bending sway bar bolts..but why?

Just bought a truck with a 4-6 drop on it. The front was done with dmj arms. The springs looks stock and uncut. I called dmj and asked if you could use stock sway bar with there kit and they said absolutely. When the suspension is unloaded the sway bar looks fine. Loaded however the bolts that hold the sway bar to the lower a arm are bent in a weird angle. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Or was it that he just over tightened the bolts causing them to bend?

thats the only thing I can think of. Does the angle of the lower a arm look correct?

they could possibly be overtightened. the instructions specifically say not to do this.
