I compared the belltech 2" shackle to the stock shackle and it's mouting point is 3" higher than the stock shackle. So this means that it moves the end of the leaf three inches up. The axle is within 2" of being in the center of the leaf spring span, so it pulls the axle into the body 1.5".

Sure enough after I install and take it for a drive. It gave me a 1.5" drop. Shouldn't the 2" drop shackle have the mounting points 4" higher than the stock shackle for a true 2" drop? I mean I'm not sweating it, just something I noticed.
