There is really no way you could go any lower than 6-8 and still be static. I have some pictures of the torsion bar crossmember and I would say it is less than 3 inches off the ground. With a wheelbase that stretches through 3 zip codes I am afraid any lower and I would high center a lot. So far, knock on wood it has done pretty well. The way it sits now I have an easy 2" of adjustment in the torsion key but there is no way I am going any lower unless on air.

Now put u some Bretzwheels.com they mAke some nice billet wheels for dualees my buddy has some on his bagged dualee then he changed to the 22 semi wheels ow nice truck

I think bretnz makes direct bolt 19.5s and 22s, but being billet will cost ya still

Brentz is a HUGE pain in the *** to deal with so far. I called them about some wheels and left several messages and emails with no response. I am not sure they are still in business

Also their 22s are too wide at 8.25 and I would need to narrow my rear end

All 22-24's require rear end cutting, but 19.5 are supposed to be bolt on.

I had a friend back in the day whose Dad slammed his 77 Dually 5-8 or something, and we spent an hour draging him off a speed bump. We had to get his 7 year old cousin to crawl under the truck to tie a rope around the axle since none of us could fit under there.

Nah, if you look on Photobucket under my user name you will see all the pictures I have. I kind of wished my dually was only lowered like 4-6 but it is what it is.

I was just messing with you. It looks great as it is. If you wouldve went 4/6 you probably wouldve wanted it lower. If i had a dualee thats exactly how i'd do it.
