Bad shocks or bad alignment?
#1
Noticed these past few days that my truck seems to be riding really rough in the front, and is starting to wear the tires choppy along the inner edge. It also has some nasty bump steer as well, but I believe an alignment will cure that for the most part. Truck is lowered 2in in the front with springs, stock shocks, but no sign of leakage or bottoming out. Planning on an alignment next week, just wondering if I should investigate shocks as well.

Check the tie rods or the wheel hubs. If its out of alignment it will wear the inside, but shouldn't be "choppy." Bad wheel hubs or tie rods always left sort of a scalloped wear in my tires. Does the steering wheel have any feedback?
