BlownFogger540 on silverado ss.com had the part you need for sale.

You could check and see if he still has them. I attempted to post the link but it would not work. I seem to be mostly useless today for some reason.

Its a different pattern than a autotrac case? Ive never heard of anyone having to change the adapter when changing a 60e truck to AWD.

I think the length of the adapter is the key. All of it runs together in my head because i did 4l60 4x4 to awd to 4l80 awd

It has to do with the size of the output shaft of the trans and the number for splines on it. 80E has a bigger output shaft.

I think some people are confused. The input shaft on the transfer case has to be changed. Yes. My understanding is that this thread is about the adapter that bolts to the transfer case and to the transmission. Is it me that is confused cause i am beginning to think i need to unsub from this thread. Lol
