I would contact Auburn, they have a great exchange program that may be what you need. I am not 100% sure on the warranty of the parts, but I know I sent mine in when I had a peg leg problem and they swapped it out for me for 100.00, and that included shipping.

Dam I know this an old thread but like me we still want to know. I will not waste your time with B/S .At first when my Auburn Pro was intalled it had dino oil an additive no problems. 700 miles later another shop for gear problem changed the oil to I think 90/140 synthyic. Ran it for a 5,000 mile trip and it stated binding as if the dam diff. was going to go. changed to 80/90 g-5 with 4oz. of gm additive or the same And now it works great dam I had lost my posi on turns and did not even now. love my Auburn Pro . but dont put synthitic thats my 2 cents. Default 90w non synth

I have an eatonand i use 90 w non syn. All the additive does is keep the oil from foaming.
