are the aubrun posi's worth the money? i can pick one up for 350 shipped and just wanna know if it would be worth it or not since i have heard so many mixed things about them. or should i just save my money and get an eaton?

You can get an Eaton for about the same money; I wouldn't bother with the Auburn.

You could also get a Trutrac for about the same and have no clutches to wear out.

Part number is 913A481 EBAY You might be able to find a better price, but this is decent.

people dont like them but thats what i got and havent had any problems with it in the past 2 or so years ive had it..even when my teeth stripped on my 4.10's just cleaned it up and works just fine..i dont do doughnuts and slide around corners and i think that why other people have had problems with them

I have never had any problems with Auburn (Pro Series) Posi Units. I have one in my truck now and had one in my low 11 sec. Turbo Buick. The car now goes 10's and it still has not missed a beat. There are no clutches to wear out and they have a very good warranty. Just my 2 cents!

Yup... Auburn Pro Diff too. 8k miles no problems. Its chatters a little backing up and turning at the same time... not something I am really worried about.
