attaching steel to Aluminum shift stick

Default attaching steel to Aluminum shift stick

im currently working on the t56 conversion, the B&M shifter stick is aluminum which cant be bent so i was trying to figure out a way to attach a steel rod to it but i dont know how. the shifter stick is threaded for the shifter **** but instead i wanna put the steel rod then bend it, how can this be done, i thought of some stupid ideas but i would appreciate your help

You can heat aluminum lightly and bend it, or you can cold bend it. Do you want the stick taller or further back?What are you needing to do? You could look on one of the Pro-touring websites,those guys have put 6 speeds in most everything.
