Default ATF? Synthetic or not?

Well my tranny is out and apart, as of right now when it goes back together I am going to be running Amsoil Synthetic. Who is running sythetic ATF? I know the new GM fluid is Syn. but I have never personally used it. Whats everyones take on this? Thanks.

I have been running the AMSOIL Supershift synth. in both my supercharged trucks with great luck, My Magnason side-mount supercharged Suburban has been running the Supershift fluid for 85,000 miles and still shifts hard and have had no Trany problems (Stock Trans except for HPTuners tweeking)

I have run the Supershift in my Radix bolwn Sierra for 36,000 miles with no problems (stock trans except for Transco shift kit and servos and HPTuners tweeking) I change the fluid every 30,000 miles.

Well when I pulled the pan the oil came out looking great. I am not pulling it because its broke but to build it up before it breaks. However it has lived this long boosted with only a shiftkit, servos, and HPT tweeking.

This would be a good one to see Vince or Chuck @ FLT's opinion. I have been using Castrol or whatever else cheap name brand conventional oil.

Vince and Chuck say run only dino at least in their 4L60E's. I had this very discussion with them when they did the 4L60E in my old Tahoe a couple years ago. Not sure their thoughts on the Dexron VI which I believe is a synthetic/dino blend.
